CliffsNotes: Au Revoir Simone
Au Revoir Simone consists of myself, Erika Forster, and Annie Hart. We’ve been together for over six years now which is pretty remarkable considering that we spend nearly 24 hours a day together, every day. Contrary to our press clippings, none of us met on a train. Even though there are only three of us, and we only play keyboards, that does not mean that we only play three keyboards. We play many, mainly vintage. We all sing and we all write the music together. We’ve released five albums, “Verses of Comfort, Assurance, and Salvation,” “The Bird of Music,” a remix album of those songs called, “Reverse Migration,” “Still Night, Still Light” (produced by the dreamy, Thom Monahan), and more recently, a remix album of those songs, called “Night Light.”

Our band name came from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, and is not a pretentious reference to any feminists or female musicians or even French grandmères, living or dead.
Rod Sherwood is the boss.
